Colleen has had a long and varied career in healthcare, starting in 2004 at Greater Baltimore Medical Center where she held administrative and support staff positions in various departments across the hospital. She went on to work with various practices including acupuncture, ob/gyn and pain management. She met Bill and Karisa in 2008 while she was practice manager of an acupuncture center. When Bill and Karisa opened Towson Acupucture Associates in 2015, Colleen came on board as practice manager and billing specialist in the area of medicine which has been her true passion. Her years of experience in healthcare have given her strong experience in the often difficult area of medical billing. This allows our patients to spend less time on the phone with insurance companies and more time to get well!
Colleen has a Certificate of Photography from Harford Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Art History from Towson University. When she is not in the clinic Colleen is most likely at home watching documentaries or The Office and playing with her dog Izzy and her cat Spaz.
